Registered training organisations are audited on how they enrol, assess and keep records. The software is not a nice interface over a spreadsheet; it is the thing that has to hold up when the regulator asks how a learner was assessed and who signed it off.
That shapes every screen. A form that loses a field, or a record that can be edited without a trace, is not a bug report — it is a compliance finding for the client.
Every training organisation on the platform has its own users, its own learners and its own configuration, and none of them can see another’s. Getting that separation right runs from the database up to which buttons appear on a page.
The interface had to adapt to each organisation without becoming a different product for each one — the same components, configured rather than forked.
The work is finished and handed over: code, documentation and a clean separation, so the client can carry it on without needing me in the room. That is what finishing a platform build is supposed to look like.
